Medical Camp at Vijay Nagar, Rohini, Delhi (17.09.2011)

SVCT organized a general health camp in association with Navyuvak Sangrash Samiti on 17th Sep 2011 at 40 futa Road,Vijay Vihar Phase-2, Rohini Sec4, New Delhi. Due to rainy season the venue had been changed to J.P.School, nearby area. The Principle of the school and the owner were so helpful and supported us in all possible ways. The SVCT team along with 10 volunteers served the local people from 11:00a.m to 3:00pm. The camp provided the local people with free regular and dental checkups. Dr. (Ms)Simran Kaur Sawhney managed dental care (About 20 temporaly filling of Cavity was also done). Dr. Abhilash and Dr. Naveen Tyagi did the regular checkups. First time SVCT introduced Homeopathy treatment, about 60-65 patient who believed in Homeopathy came to take advantage of the same. Medicines were also given to the patients. Dr.(Ms) Lovepreet Kaur offered her services in camps . All the volunteers took special care of women attending the camp by making them aware about breast cancer. 179 total patients attended the camp & medicines were given to all the patients. The camp was an over-all success in serving people and we hope to do the same in future. A big Thanks to Mr.Hem Raj Garg and his team for helping in smooth running the camp.
