A Breast Cancer (Awareness & Detection) Camp was organised in
association with Guru Kripa associates on 13th December 2011 at Mehak
Vatika near Sharma office, Budh Vihar, New Delhi from 10 am to 3 pm. A
small & informatics exhibition was displayed for people to know
about the bad effects of Tobbaco. 106 ladies were benefitted from this
camp. All were given useful information regarding the cause, symptoms
and effects of the breast cancer. 32 Mammography tests were also
conducted. Mr. Shambhu Dayal Sharma, sitting MCD Councillor had also
visited the camp and appreciated the efforts of SVCT. He said that this
was the first ever camp organized by anyone in this area. Thanks to Mr.
Bittoo Batra and his team for helping in smooth running of the camp.
