A Camp on Heart, Cancer & Respiratory was organized in association with Metro Heart & Cancer Institute at Gate No.2, Pocket C, Mayur Vihar Phase -2, Delhi, with the help of Resident Welfare Society. Large number of patients from different areas came to the camp. Mr. Anil Kumar Choudary, MLA (& President DPYC) inaugurated the Camp and appreciated the activity. Mr. Davendra Kumar, councilor MCD, also visited and was impressed by the arrangements of the Camp and requested SVCT to hold more camps in the area.
On our special request Mr. Niloy Mitra chief coordinator, Metro Hospital sent a special team (ECG, Echo, PFT and PFM) for the Camp. Total OPD conducted were 202 (Heart-150, Cancer-60, and Respiratory-55). The following tests were done RBS-160, ECG-110, PFT (Pulmonary function test)-38, PFM (Peak flow Meter)-30 and ECHO -45. Thanks to Mr. S.K. Choudary, Mr. Vijay Sharma, Mr. K.P. Varghees and Mr. V. Kukreja of RWS, who helped in smooth running of the camp. Mr. Anil Grover, President, on behalf of RWS thanked SVCT for holding the Camp. Mr.Gaurav and his team (4) (Jaypee Business School, Noida) worked as social Volunteer.
